Fra 17. januar starter HATHA Yoga op igen, og tilmelder du dig, vil din krop takke dig.
HATHA yoga dækker over den fysiske yogapraksis, den indeholder klassiske yogastillinger, meditation og åndedrætsøvelser udført i et kontrolleret og roligt tempo.
Kombinationen af nærvær og de fysiske øvelser er en effektiv genvej til øget overskud, og udover at stimulere, styrke og afbalancere kroppen, styrkes også sind og evnen til at være fuldt tilstede og fokuseret.
Vi har denne gang 3 HATHA yoga hold:
Fredagspraksis – ”den bedste start på weekenden” – Fredage kl. 15:45 – 17:00
Lørdag den 2. december havde GGIF Gymnastik inviteret til juletræsfest i Magion, ca. 200 børn og voksne deltog.
Det store juletræ var sat op i hal 3, og børnene havde selv julepynt med til træet.
Der blev hygget med gløgg, æbleskiver, saft, kaffe og kage, og bagefter var det tid til at danse om juletræet.
Johan Andersen fra Filskov spillede op til dans hvor også Julemanden deltog. Efter der var danset om det store juletræ fik alle børn udleveret slikposer.
Der var også et amerikansk lotteri, hvor gevinsterne var sponsoreret af byens butikker og virksomheder.

Hvad laver bestyrelsen?
Bestyrelsen er overordnet ansvarlig for driften af gymnastikforeningen
I sæsonen 2013/14 ændrede vi organisationsstrukturen i GGIF Gymnastik. Bestyrelsen blev således decentraliseret. Dette af hensyn til at bruge bestyrelsens ressourcer i konkrete udvalg; sikre klare ansvarsområder og at opgaver ikke falder mellem 2 stole; sikre hurtige beslutninger og viden om konsekvenser og sikre at bestyrelsesmedlemmer ikke brænder ud efter 2 år
Organisationen blev således at;
*Bestyrelsen består af 3 medlemmer (Formand, Næstformand og Kasserer).
*Derudover er der 10 udvalg bestående af; Gymnastikudvalg, Grand Prix Udvalg, Spring Udvalg, Kommunikationsudvalg, Redskabsudvalg, Uddannelsesudvalg, Områdeudvalg, Eventudvalg, Aktivitetsudvalg, Sponsorudvalg.
Antallet af udvalgsmedlemmer varierer fra udvalg til udvalg, men samlet set er vi i dag 25 bestyrelses- og udvalgsmedlemmer.
Opgaverne er fordelt på langt flere hænder end tidligere, og det fungerer super godt.
Bestyrelsen er:

På fredag, d. 25/8 kl. 19.00, er der i Kulturhuset/Kino Quizorama – en dyst mellem Elite Gymnaster fra GGIF Gymnastik og elitespillere fra GGIF Håndbold. QUIZORAMA er en del af Trekantområdets festuge.
Der vil for deltagerne forekomme spørgsmål og udfordringer, som både udfordrer en bred viden, intellektet og fysikken, smartness og fiduser og gøgl.
Det er klart – ligesom i sportskonkurrencer” – at publikum er med til at skabe stemningen i et samspil med holdene – og måske påvirke resultatet – hvem ved….??
Derfor vil vi jo gerne i GGIF Gymnastik samle det største og bedste heppekor. Der vil være præmie til det største heppekor, så skal vi ikke se om vi kan samle det største og bedste heppekor, og hjælpe pigerne på vej i kampen mod GGIF Håndbold???
Der er gratis adgang for publikum, popcorn til halv pris, og der vil være lodtrækningsgaver blandt publikum – whats not to like??? Der er plads til 289 publikummer, og det er først til mølle princippet.
Ses vi på fredag til QUIZORAMA – det tror vi nok vi gør.
En rundspørge viser, at 39% af de unge som ikke er frivillige i en forening gerne vil være det.
Men hvordan er det egentligt at være frivillig? Kan jeg bruges, og hvad skal jeg så lave??
Der er mange forskellige ting man kan lave som frivillig – også hos os i GGIF Gymnastik.
DGI har lavet et rigtigt godt overblik over hvad det vil sige at være frivillig, “hvilken frivillig er jeg” og meget mere.
Så er du en af de 39% som rigtig gerne vil i gang med at være frivillig, så gå ind på linket og læs meget mere. Du er selvfølgelig også meget velkommen til at gå ind at læse det selvom du måske er lidt ældre, for hos os er alle velkomne.
